This commitment is supported by our stakeholder engagement strategy, focussing on awareness, dialogue and collaboration designed to create shared value. This strategy is applicable to all MISC’s businesses and operations.
At MISC, we define stakeholders as “all those who exercise, or could exercise influence over the activity of our business or operations and all those who are, or could be, influenced by the activity of our business or operations”. The objectives of our stakeholder engagement strategy are to identify and understand our key stakeholders and build a sustainable relationship with them. More importantly, we want to be able to identify opportunities and address concerns proactively. In order to do this, MISC goes through a four-step systematic process:
